Models has become more and more popular in the New York New Jersey metro area. It usually isn't in most mall shopping center though. Models is famous for their slogan, "Gotta Go to Mo's." Models is very similar to a Sports Authority store in that it carries sports equipment as well as clothing. Models has a select range of equipment that they carry ranging from baseball gloves, hockey sticks to football cleats and sneakers. They have a wide range of shoes that they carry for any sport. They have the largest selection of sports jerseys of any of these stores. Whatever sport is in season they will have a full stock of like baseball, basketball or football jerseys. Their prices are also pretty reasonable and they usually have a sale going on.
Sports Authority and Dick's Sporting Goods:
Both of these stores are almost exact replicas of each other. Dick's Sporting Goods can usually be found in upstate NY or other parts along the North East Coast. Sports Authority is gaining some popularity and specializes in the New York City and metro area. Both of these stores carry vast amounts of sports equipment. Every imaginable sport they have equipment for like rugby or hockey, canoeing, skiing, golf, and much more. There are usually plenty of sales people walking around to help customers with assistance in finding the item they are searching for. I have found that Sports Authority carries a wider range of Sports jerseys and sneakers while Dick's carries more coats and clothing. Dick's has many different brands of warm and cold gear for training in a sport. Dick's also carries pool tables and poker tables as well for billiards. Both of these stores are slightly more expensive than Models but if you are looking for equipment these are the two stores to shop in.
Foot Locker:
Footlocker has become extremely popular in the United States and is a very popular store in malls and outlet shopping. Foot locker carries a wide range of clothing such as sweatshirts, T-shirts, 3-button down shirts, jerseys and a medium range of sneakers. They carry sneaker products like cleaners and sweatbands. Foot Locker usually has a sale going on in the form of a "By One get One Free" sale or buying a certain quantity of an item for a lowered price such as "5 T-Shirts for $20." The help is also extremely good. Right when you walk in you are greeted by someone and if sales people see you aimlessly walking around or looking for an item they will walk right up to you to ask if you need any help.
Finish Line:
Finish Line is a store that is also very similar to Foot Locker. There is always someone there to help you. Finish Line's specialty is there enormous selection of sneakers and shoes. They have all of the latest trends in Nike, Adidas, and Reebok sneakers. They also carry sports jerseys and T-shirts. Their prices are also very comparable to Foot Locker and there is usually a small sale going on.
