I just bought the website www.the-green-dude.com, now what!!!! I have a picture in my head of what I want. I just don't know how to get it. You Tube here I come.

First blog post, took a long time to get here, but I'm officially a blogger. My plan is to blog for awhile, before converting the site into The Retro Future Shop. I want to sell vinyl albums, VHS tapes, and anything retro. Also, I want to sell green products, homemade and store bought, to make the future just a little bit better for my children.

Started my SEO optimization today, and after 3 hours of reading up on the subject I can honestly tell you all I know is what it stands for. I liken starting a small business to a hurdle race, every time I get over one hurdle I find another one standing between myself and the finish line. At this point, I'm wondering if there really is a finish line.

I have links, who would have ever thought I would get excited about links. I worked very hard to get the precious few that I do have. Nowhere near the daily hits I was hoping for but I think it's officially time for phase 2 of my operation, The Retro Future Shop.

I spent the last week searching for inventory, hard to start selling a product if you don't have one. I do believe a trip to the bank might be in order. I was hoping that advertising money from the blog would help, but the advertising program I chose, let's call it big G, dropped me for no reason, leaving me with $.01, time to find a new source of advertising.

Found a new advertiser, putting ads up. Hope this one turns out a little better than the last. I just bought 1000 VHS movies for $150, working on a lead for 1000 vinyl albums, and reviewing online store software, hoping to have the store up soon. At the moment, still have the old name of the website, once inventory is set I will spin off the site The Retro Future Shop.
