Running Races in Greater Savannah, GA for November and December, 2020

1. Captions Matthew Freeman 5K Run for Peace
The Captain Matthew Freeman 5K Run for Peace will be held November 11 at 9 am at J.F. Gregory Park in Richmond Hill, GA. This Veterans Day run is to benefit The Freeman Project in loving memory of Captain Matthew Freeman who gave his life serving in Afghanistan. The Freeman Project is dedicated to providing school supplies for our troops to hand out directly to children in war torn areas.
2.Trail of Hope 5K
The Trail of Hope 5K will be taking place in the beautiful Skidaway Island State Park on November 13 at 8:00 am. Proceeds from this race will go to benefit Covenant Care Services (A Christian Adoption and Counseling Agency). Come run and help babies make it home to loving families.
3.Savannah Christian Ten Can Run (5K and 10K)
The Ten Can Run is the first in the Golf Course Series organized by the local FCA Endurance group. This particular race is on Thanksgiving Morning (November 25th) at 8:30 AM at Savannah Christian Church. The races will begin at Savannah Christian Church, go through the Henderson Gold Course, and end back at Savannah Christian. Participants are to bring ten cans of food to help fill the church's food pantry for the hungry.
4. The Pickle Run 5K
The Pickle Run 5K will be November 27th at 9 AM on Tybee Island. The course will be a combination of beach and road. The Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Coastal Empire will be benefit from the proceeds.
5. Trevor's Treasures 5K
Trevor's Treasures 5K will be held on December 11 at 8 AM at Jenkins High School in Savannah, GA. Trevor is a young fighting for his life at St. Jude's Hospital with a brain tumor. All proceeds from this race will go to help Trevor's parents pay his mounting medical bills.
6. Jingle Bell Run 8K
The Jingle Bell Run 8K will be is going to take place on December 18th at 4 pm on Hutchinson Island, SC (right across the Talmadge Bridge in Savannah, GA). This race will benefit the Rape Crisis Center. There will be a costume contest. So come dressed as your favorite Santa Clause, reindeer, or elf. Participants must race in their costumes. After the race The Savannah International Trade and Convention Center will be providing hot chocolate, coffee, hot cider, veggie dish, and popcorn balls.
7. FCA Savannah Golf Course Series/Westin(5K amp; 10K)
This race is the second race in the Golf Course Series by FCA Endurance and will take place on Christmas Eve (December 31) at 5:30 pm at the Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort and Spa. Proceeds go to support the local chapter of the Coastal Fellowship of Christian Athletes. There will be showers available for all the runners and the evening will end with a family friendly New Years Party.
