Skyfall Best Action Movie of 2020 Starring Daniel Craig as James Bond Agent 007
We now see James and the enemy fighting on top of a moving train appearing to go over 70mph and quickly approaching a heavily cemented bridge, that will kill them both on impact. With less than a few seconds left before they reach the bridge,....
Skyfall- James Bond, Agent 007, is Certainly Keen to go Home
Action packed suspense. This is by far my favorite James Bond Agent 007, and I have watched quite a few. It is one of the best action movies I've ever seen. I couldn't take my eyes off the screen. I sat on the edge of my seat as we were being "Evil Knieveled " on and through the rooftops of the buildings of Istanbul. We witness James Bond - Agent 007 fearlessly chasing the thief and each scene more gripping than the other.
We now see James and the enemy fighting on top of a moving train appearing to go over 70mph and quickly approaching a heavily cemented bridge, that will kill them both on impact. With less than a few seconds left before they reach the bridge, James' assistant is trying to target and shoot. She, who is watching from the grounds, stays there almost frozen, watching James fight for his life, and not being able to shoot since they are too close to distinguish. She calls M, the boss, nicely played by Judy Dench, at which point she tells her "take the bloody shot" Hesitated and scared and apparently not experienced in handling a gun, with trembling hands, she targets and shoots.
We hear the shot and we see a body falling (as if from the sky) and plunging into deep, deep, water.
The spectacular scenes during and after the plunge left me to wonder if they were part of a dream, imagined or the realistic visualization of what the character was feeling as his body was slowly sinking.
To me, the take on this scene was an inception of a reality that was beginning to face a tragic end.
I was also really impressed with the lead villain's character played by Javier Bardem, resembling a mischievous and devious attitude as well as appalling and apathetic and yet with a certain degree of compassion and charm that only a few actors can portray, among them Jack Nicholson, and the deceased Keith Ledger.
The sceneries although not the main attraction were an "icing on the lake", I mean , "Icing on the cake". Covering scenes from Istanbul, Scotland, London and beautifully capturing the nights of Shanghai.
I loved how during one of the scenes, they inserted a small, seemingly insignificant line, when a man at the station said " He seems Keen on going Home" after seeing James run with all his might after a train and latching on to it as if his life depended on it.
That seemingly insignificant line, takes on a whole new meaning as we later find out. All I can say for now is another simple phrase with profound meaning. "There is no place like home".
